Illegal Immigration and the boats

It’s not just a problem, it’s an epidemic

Published

It’s not just a problem, it’s an epidemic. Masses of immigrants crossing the channel from France to the UK (Calais – Dover). They can come in waves of 600+ a day in summer. These Illegal immigrants will do anything to get to the UK, the promised land to them. The land that will not send them back, the land that gives free accommodation money and security.

The problems came when in 2025, 41,000 people arrived in the UK via small boats, which rose from 2023 under the conservatives but still not good enough. 41,000 people all under the watch of the Labour government, arriving to take taxpayers’ money.

It was interesting a few weeks ago when Sir Jim Radcliffe commented on the illegal immigration problem, saying we are being colonised. He was expected to apologise, but why should he? Why apologise for things that look true? Our whole dynamics have changed, with many towns having to settle immigrants in hotels and social housing.

We have approximately 360,000 homeless people in the UK who need help and are UK residents. Give them a hotel room or social housing first, but it’s not the case. What happens is we pander to these illegal immigrants, and they use the law to stay and human rights law. Judges make poor decisions, allowing people to stay indefinitely in the UK because their children don’t like chicken nuggets in their home country.

But the government is doing nothing. Keir Starmer was going to smash the gangs to stop small boat immigration, but a total waste of time and money. Then we decided to pay the French millions to help. They slashed 2 boats, and that was it. 360 million plus that 180 million a boat. Why are we paying France, and the Home Secretary at the moment is renewing the contract?

Now we have problems with these illegal immigrants sexually engaging with children. Today, an Afghan man was sentenced to 16 years in prison for raping a 12-year-old girl. It’s no wonder the far-right use instances like this to promote their ideologies.

These illegal immigrants are dishonest before they land. They throw into the sea any identification of who they are, including any mobile phones. When they land, they can take any identification they want. We have adults acting as children, and how can you prove it?

One of the other points is that immigrants come from a different culture from the UK. Why should anyone in a Christian country change their beliefs when it’s their country? People in the UK are sick of picking up a paper to read how we shouldn’t offend people and their religions, and how people have to bend over backwards to not offend anyone.

Another problem is the left-wing believers. Every time someone mentions the boats, there is a cry their right wing. Yes, far right like the Nazi Party. The left believes no one should have an opinion. Even the PM in the Commons is always mentioning the far right, as he does not like the Reform Party because if there were an election today, Reform would win.

There is always a way not to offend, but ideas like non-Muslims not eating in public during Ramadan is absurd. I think people worry about other religions pushing their beliefs on us.

We do need to do something, though. If 41 thousand people came to the UK every year for 10 years, that’s 410000, nearly half a million people for the UK to house, keep and give a life to. The UK has enough problems of its own without this problem scaling out of control.

As long as we have a weak PM, we have no chance.

Modern-Day Politics and Today’s Ideologies Now

One of the worst culprits is politicians. On TV and in the papers, they waffle on

Who knows us better than us? There can be nothing worse than someone who does not know us saying they do, especially in politics.

One of the worst culprits are politicians. On TV and in the papers, they waffle on, saying they know what the British public wants, but they are out of touch or just make it up.

The public always has ways of showing its displeasure. By-elections and local elections are the usual way of showing a government how they are feeling in politics.

But still the politicians take no notice. They know what we want, not us. Keir Starmer is a culprit of this. He knows what the public wants all the time.

Things on the public’s mind are the cost of living and illegal immigration. We can see our shopping increasing with fuel prices rising every day.

Every time we get our weekly shop, it seems we pay more. Inflation from last year has increased, and people are struggling to make ends meet.

The pressures of paying gas, electricity and other utility bills are zapping the public’s wages before buying food. The pressure on OAPs and low-income families is becoming intolerable.

Illegal immigration is also a top subject on many people’s minds. All these illegal immigrants coming in mostly by boat and lorry, too, have become a major talking point.

Labour talks about immigration but fails to address illegal immigration.  Sometimes, 1000 people arrive illegally on our shores looking for asylum weekly by dinghy.

For communities that have these immigrants living with them in the community, they worry for many reasons, especially their children.

But if we need any other indicators, Reform is looking good in the polls with their immigration policies.

Reform doesn’t even talk about their other policies, except immigration, only on occasion. Is this not a plain indicator of what the people want?

So does the government know what the public wants? They don’t understand basic constructs. We can see the evidence in the public liking of Reform.

Reform took the local elections by storm. Ok, it could be a protest vote against Labour. But in the polls, Reform is consistently the frontrunner and has been for some time.

At the end of the day, each political party is out for what it can get. All full of promises and manifestos that they break.

There is no solution, but all we can do is Vote and hope.

Stop the incentives, stop the boats.

Illegal immigrants have taken the opportunity to get as many people over as possible.

I think we all will agree that the weather has been amazing this bank holiday, which has, in turn, given us great and calm water, especially for the English Channel.

Illegal immigrants have taken the opportunity to get as many people over as possible. Coming in on their landing craft, they have managed to get 989 people across the channel from Fri – Mon this bank holiday weekend.

We are getting better weather now as the summer approaches. How many more illegal immigrants will we get this summer?

Everything is such a free-for-all. The Home Secretary is trying to give money to France, but now the boats are not taking off from France, but instead from Belgian beaches.

The boat gangs have now hired mercenaries from the Middle East to protect them. But the French police seem to have nothing to do with no consequential local boat launches.

989 people landed have to be clothed, fed and housed. With the public getting dismayed at hotels being used, where are we going to put them to start with?

Local services, doctors, dentists and hospitals are getting overcrowded with our use, never mind use from people who have entered the country illegally.

We as a country pay other countries money to help them out, but we have people illegally coming into the UK and giving it out to. There is only so much money to give.

Home Office data states that 331,000 people applied for indefinite leave to remain, and their dependents applied for citizenship in the two years to March.

Something has to be done now, as the weather is just getting better. As long as the weather is good, crossings are to be expected.

People who feel we should let anyone in forget to realise we are only a small island. The more immigrants we let in, the less traditions and way of life get watered down.

These days, we cannot even fly the St George’s flag or the Union Jack without someone saying it is racist. That’s supposed to be our identity, but it’s getting eradicated, as are many UK traditions, in case we offend someone or a race.

The Rwanda scheme planned by the last Conservative Government was designed to send illegal immigrants to Rwanda to be processed, and some to live. Labour got in and stopped the plan, and now has let more immigrants in than the Conservatives.

You’ve got to have an incentive for someone to want to do something. As we have said, the UK gives these people free accommodation, free food and money what an incentive.

If we have some sort of Rwanda scheme ourselves, it may sort out the incentive of illegal immigration to come to the UK.

It seems sometimes that the politicians just don’t make any sense on this subject. The PM said smash the gangs, nothing got smashed. We have money being thrown at France, but nothing seems to be doing.

Stop the incentives, stop the boats.

200,000 Illegal Immigrants arrive since 98

The PM now has a problem with immigration.

Rubber Small Boats

Well, despite having a bad day at the office with the election, the PM still has a problem with immigration. Since 1998, 200,000 illegal immigrants have entered the UK. Mainly by dinghies and a few by truck from Calias.

Has the PM got off his backside and tried to solve this? Oh yes, he has been bragging about how he is going to smash the gangs. But how many has he smashed, and transparency would be nice.

The Conservatives had set up camps in Rwanda to take illegal immigrants and process them. But the PM cockily turned it down as soon as he got into power, not even giving it a chance it was closed down.

Illegal immigration has been on the rise since Labour got into power. Not the highest, but last year Labour let in 41,472 small boats.

But we have the Home Secretary paying France to help us out, but at £500,000,000, are we getting our money’s worth? The odd dinghy is slashed, but again, the public is not informed where the money is going.

If you look at Australia, they don’t stand for illegal boats landing in their country. The illegal immigrants are intercepted before they get to Australian waters and are turned back. Some people say it’s against human rights. Is Australia bothered?

RNLI Boat

As for us, we pick these people up and the channel either by border force or RNLI and escort them to the UK, where they are hard to remove and use the ECHR human rights to stay.

But also allowing these people to come here puts a strain on UK finances and leads to overcrowding of NHS services and accommodation problems. You cannot take 200,000 immigrants without any impact.

Other problems have been sexual attacks by illegal immigrants on UK citizens. Some have attacked school children, and all attacks are unacceptable.

What’s the incentive, they say? They get everything: home, food, money, mobile phones, in fact, more than many UK citizens have. Who would not want this from a third-world country?

But imagine if the Rwandan scheme had gone forward. Who would want to come to the UK then? The boats need to stop now.
