November PlayStation Plus Lineup: Cyberpunk Mysteries, High-Speed Rally, and Physics-Based Chaos
PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for an eclectic mix of genres in the upcoming November lineup. Whether you want to explore a mysterious dystopian city as a feline protagonist, navigate high-speed rally stages, or orchestrate hilarious, ragdoll-fueled battles, this month’s selection delivers something for every style of play.
Here is an overview of the three titles joining the PlayStation Plus Essential games list.
1. Stray (PS4, PS5)
- Genre: Adventure / Exploration
- Developer: BlueTwelve Studio
Stray places players in the paws of a stray cat wandering through the neon-lit alleyways and decaying underbelly of a forgotten cybercity. Accompanied by a small flying drone named B-12, players must navigate atmospheric environments, solve environmental puzzles, and evade hostile creatures known as Zurks to untangle ancient mysteries and find a way back to the surface. With its immersive world-building and charming perspective, Stray remains one of the most memorable indie adventures on PlayStation consoles.
2. EA Sports WRC (PS5)
- Genre: Racing / Simulation
- Developer: Codemasters
For fans of high-stakes motorsport, EA Sports WRC delivers an intense rally racing experience built on Codemasters’ signature handling model. Players can construct and customise their own rally cars, compete across iconic real-world stages, and tackle challenging weather conditions across gravel, snow, and asphalt. Featuring official cars, teams, and liveries from the World Rally Championship, it stands as a deep simulation for driving enthusiasts.
3. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (PS4, PS5)
- Genre: Strategy / Physics Simulation
- Developer: Landfall Games
Rounding out the selection is Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS), a physics-driven tactics game where strategy meets unpredictable comedy. Players draft armies from dozens of absurd unit types—ranging from medieval knights and ancient warriors to bizarre fantasy creatures—and pit them against each other in ragdoll battle arenas. Because of its ragdoll physics system, no two skirmishes ever unfold the same way, making it as entertaining to watch as it is to play.
Availability Details
All three titles will be available for download from Tuesday, November 4 through Monday, December 1 for active PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers. Once redeemed, the games remain accessible in your library as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription remains active.

Has Sony Shot Themselves In The Foot
Who is to blame for the current crisis Sony has put themselves in, and will it all end in tears?
Almost any feud is distasteful and full of resentment. But who is to blame for the current crisis Sony has put themselves in, and will it all end in tears?
This all started when Sony stated it was not going to produce hard media after 2027. No more DVDs, just downloads of your favourite software games.
Sony argues that there are more people downloading digital content than people buying disc games. Sony also says it’s a natural progression moving to digital-only media.
When people bought the PS5, you had digital-only, disc drive and PRO versions. Now maybe it would have been a good time to introduce digital-only at the PS5’s launch.
If the PS5 had no disc versions at the start, it maybe would have been expected. Like any other company, sales of the PS5 were important at the beginning.
Due to a shortage of components, though, sales of the PS5 were slow for a while, and people had to wait months to get their hands on one.

So, we come down to why now?
One reason could be the imminent release of the game GTA6. This game has been in development for a year or so.
But this game will be digital only, and maybe Sony has looked at this format and made a decision. But there is more to it than meets the eye, and that’s MONEY.
If you buy the program or game digitally, the license is for one PlayStation username. Yes, the game is identical to the disc version, but the license is nontransferable.
This means when you buy a game, you cannot sell it. A non-transferable license is for the purchaser only.
So, looking at Rockstar Games and GTA 6, their quids in.
But look beyond GTA6, and you have the PlayStation Network, which has its own shop to sell digital downloadable games.
Here you can buy games, but some are expensive. Let’s look at an example. PlayStation Store sells Gran Turismo 7 for £69.99, yet on eBay a new disc version costs £31.90.
This is where the rip-off starts to show. It’s not even a few pence; it’s pounds.
But think of it. As soon as Sony makes all sales digital, the prices could rise, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Owning a disc feels like you own the game. It gives you the opportunity to do as you wish, i.e. keep it, sell it or swap it.
All through life, we have seen mega corporate companies bully their clients just to make an extra buck.
But the most dangerous part of all this is that your digital game could be pulled by Sony at any time. They have done things like this before with the TV.
Our opinion is that this is down to greed over convenience or slimming down. The software houses beware, though, because the public are not going to buy rubbish games and be stuck with them. They just won’t buy them.

Backlash as Sony and its staff take abuse.
Sony has threatened to stop customer support and pursue legal action over harassment.
Well, it’s heating up at Sony in this row about hard media being phased out in 2028. It’s to be replaced with digital downloads. The announcement given some weeks ago has sparked outrage amongst PlayStation owners.
Sony has threatened to stop customer support and pursue legal action over harassment. The backlash to PlayStation’s removal of physical discs mounts up, with Sony not backing down under pressure despite lawsuits pending.
The behaviour of disgruntled customers is putting Sony in a position to shut down its customer service. Sony said it must protect the safety and dignity of its staff.
Sony went on to say that if customers’ behaviour and harassment continue, they threaten to suspend customer services if it continues.
Some of the behaviours noted were unreasonable demands for compensation, abuse, abusive language, threats, slander and requests unrelated to services or products and demands against individual staff members.
But Sony has only itself to blame. The backlash was caused by Sony’s decision to end DVD media production at the end of 2027. Gamers have been outraged since.
They argue that without ownership of the physical disc, you don’t own the software and that digital media is a rental totally controlled by a company.

When you buy a game now and finish it, you can sell it. You sell the disc, and it’s like proof of ownership. With digital, you personally own the license, which is tied to your PS network account and cannot be transferred or sold.
This, in turn, allows total control from Sony and more money to be made by Sony and the software developers.
Let’s be honest, abuse of any kind is not acceptable these days. People and gamers are miffed about this, but if you want to hurt Sony, hit them in their pocket; don’t abuse their staff. Buy fewer games, take the cheapest PlayStation Network subscription.
Currently, there is a petition on change.org to stop killing the disc. It’s currently up to 370 thousand signatures and growing daily.
We think Sony is in for a rough time till 2028. People have the right to complain, and this all seems like a corporate money-making scam.
